Northwest ISD would like to congratulate 20 students from Leo Adams Middle School and Tidwell Middle School selected for the Texas Choral Directors Association (TCDA) Middle School All-State choir ensemble. The choir, under the direction of Dr. Charlotte Botha, will perform their concert during the TCDA convention in San Antonio this July.

As a district, NISD will have the second-greatest number of students performing in the choir from across the state.

“We are so proud of our 20 NISD students selected for the TCDA Middle School All-State choir,” said Rebecca O’Donovan, Northwest ISD's fine arts director. “This is the highest honor in Texas for middle school singers, and these talented students will represent us well in July. We congratulate them for being chosen for this honor, and we thank their directors for preparing them so well!”
